Many people ask me what Metafit is. In short, Metafit is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Session, using only bodyweight exercise. No weights, no choreography, no equipment needed.
It is also one of the most effective ways to get yourself fit, whatever your current ability and fitness level.

What I am saying is that the type of exercises performed in Metafit and the format of Metafit classes has been shown to be beneficial for all of the above and is an important part of any fitness plan.
It is an intense class, you will work hard, but you will also work to your own ability. All the exercises can be toned down or ramped up to suit each individual in the class to ensure everyone receives the workout they need.

As already mentioned above, exercises can be tailored to suit your ability and you will see when you join in a Metafit class the the fittest in the class usually find the class hardest...Honestly, that´s how it works.
And really, why waste several months performing long, slow exercises that are doing little to increase your metabolism, cardiovascular abilities or strength, when you could be doing a quick 30min class that will have you noticing improvements within the first 2 weeks?
Metafit is a HIIT workout. Unlike most other HIIT sessions I have attended, Metafit is based on using large muscle groups in big bodyweight movements, with perfect technique and the best range of movement possible, not just on getting out of breath with fast short range cardio exercises. It is the type of large moevements Metafit uses that encourages the muscle adaptations, body composition improvments and overall fitness improvements.
Plus, Metafit sessions are different every session! With around 40 different sessions available right now, you will not be stuck performing the same routine week after week..you will only perform each individual workout 4 times a year!!! No chance to get bored, or for your body to get used to it!
